Project Runway: MonSTAR Edition

It is November and it is that time of the year once again where people dress up as they were something out of a nightmare and scary stories are told left and right, all the while remembering and celebrating our loved ones who have passed on.

Yes, it is Halloween and of course FETP will not be left out as we, EEC, have planned a Halloween party for our dear colleagues.

For this year’s Halloween party, EEC had the employees in Manila showcase their star factor in a red carpet fashion show garbed in their different costumes.

The event was held on October 28, 2016 at 3:00 PM while the fashion show started around 4:00 PM.

Before the show, our very own CFD Director & General Manager gave us an awe inspiring opening speech, donned in her costume. EEC opened the fashion show by showcasing their costumes on the red carpet. It was then the employees turn to wow everyone with their own creative costumes.

After the show we were sure everyone was famished because of their performance so EEC prepared a small snack of pizza for everyone to enjoy while they wait for the result of the fashion show. Everyone also took photos in the photo booth that EEC has prepared for them.

Apart from the fashion show, there was also a pre-event contest called “Scariest Selfie”. The rules of the contest were simple, send in a scary selfie but no Photoshop or any other image manipulation is allowed. Entries were posted in the pantry so that everyone can vote on who had the scariest selfie while taking a break from the fashion show. The winners were decided by the number of employee votes they received.

Here are the photos of the top 3 winners:

The winners received some nifty prices including an umbrella and GC from Serenitea.

After the monsters were finished gobbling up the pizza, it was time to announce the winners of the fashion show.

The best male costume went to the SMD Manager who wore a Spengler costume from a classic Halloween favorite the “Ghost Busters” while the best female costume was awarded to Ms. ICT Division General Manager for a creative and crafty MonStar costume.

After the event, we didn’t wait for everyone to yell trick or treat as EEC have already prepared sweet treats for everyone to take home. A small token of appreciation to everyone who made this event a major success. All in all, it was another fun-filled affair for everyone.

That’s all for this month’s activity. See you all in the last EEC event for this year, the Christmas Party!!!
